R E C O N N A I S S A N C E (2019) challenges the concept of surveillance in our modern day life, full of technology and heavily policed. From observing social media, facial recognition on our cell phones or simply cameras at each street corner and store; our human existence is unbearably under constant scrutiny.
R E C O N N A I S S A N C E is influenced by George Orwell’s “1984” while observing relationships of the Watched vs. the Watchers, Safe vs. Unsafe, Private vs. Public and Fear vs. Power.
